The Newark Advocate reported on Jan. 3, 2009..."Licking County foreclosure filings reached another record in 2008, with 1,202 filed, including 88 in Dec., according to Licking County Common Please Court records. The filings topped the 2007 record of 1,183, by 1.6 percent, the lowest increase in more than a decade."
